Sit Down When You Eat to Keep Off the Belly Fat

If this is an ongoing problem she needs to see her doctor. There is a type of morning sickness that is so severe it must be treated with medication in order for the mother and baby to thrive.
The doctor will determine what she needs but it is important that she not become dehydrated.

One of yaw needs to call a doctor now. She can get dehydrated fast and that is not good for either the baby or her. Specially the baby. Tell to call the doc and while doing that nipple on stuff little at a time and sip on lil water. Morning sickness is a pain but you should be able to hold something down sometime. Salty crackers, hot coke. Umm ginger is supose to be good. ANd preggy pops are good. Good luck i been there good guy for trying to help congrats on the lil one.

If she cant keep anything down she really does need to go to the dr. I just had a baby in July, and i was the same way. i was 14 weeks and had lost 10lbs because i couldnt even keep water down. i puked for days straight before my dad took me to the hospital where they kept me on an IV for 4 whole days! the only thing that worked was a really expensive medication. i had to work my whole pregnancy just to pay for them, but if i didnt me and my baby would have died. so if she cant keep anything down at all she needs to get in and get checked out ASAP

you are a wonderful bf and daddy! I am the same way I got 4 and each and everyone of them kept me sick all day. I chucked up water too. I did better with warmer water and ate saltines very slow, i took my pre-natal right before bed, I threw up most of the time but I managed to keep some of it down with the warmer water. Do not fret mu friend around 4 or 5 months she will get better (unlike my sister who stays sick the entire 10 months) if she takes her pre-natal at night and can fall asleep quickly, then maybe the baby can get some nutrition thee, my friend is like us too her ob recommended Flintstones and she took 2 a day and it worked for her. Toast bread and have her smell lemons or limes that is comforting and temporarily relives nausea. Eat the toast, toast it long. The toastier it is the longer it takes to digest,at least it might stay down a while, if she is anything like me she may loose weight the 1st four to five months but she Willl gain it back and keep getting those check-ups to monitor the babies growth. As long as that baby is growing and she gets some food in her she wil be fine. God Bless your new family!!!

Shes in the period of morning sickness. Try saltine crackers, ginger ale (stir out the gas in it) tea.

If its continuous, she could become dehydrated fast. There is a condition called hypergravidemesis (severe, continuous vomiting) and can only be relieved by medications given by the doctor and possibly Intravenous fluids may be needed.

See the MD, if the latter doesn't help.

tell your doctor. they can give you nausea medicine. that's what i ended up doing. in the mean time, try gatorade ice chips to stay hydrated, and try a few pretzels if she's tired of crackers.

I was the same way earlier in my pregnancy. I told my doctor and she put me on pepcid and zofran. Haven't thrown up since then.
